FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in production process during demagnetization of parts and articles from magnet-hard ferromagnetic materials, for which standard documentation covers magnetic or magnetic particle inspection. Demagnetized part is exposed to a sequence of magnetic field pulses of the same polarity and amplitude in the pack, changing the polarity of pulses to the opposite from the pack to the pack and reducing the pulse amplitudes from the pack to the pack. Each pack comprises at least two magnetic field pulses, and the number of pulses in the pack is selected in proportion to the coercive force of the part material.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of efficiency.
