SUBSTANCE: method for determining the relaxation coercive force and the relaxation magnetization of elongated products from ferromagnetic materials is achieved by local magnetizing in the form of a strip by moving the magnetizing device, by measuring the initial component of the scattering field, for example, tangential, after magnetization, by using it to determine the magnitude of the inverse (demagnetizing) field as the setting parameter, by demagnetizing by a constant field at the level of the setting parameter at the same time by measuring the value of the internal field and its corresponding magnetization, by scanning the magnetic field strength of the residual magnetization scattering along the length of the controlled product after demagnetization, and by determining the relaxation of the coercive force, as well as the relaxation magnetization in the zero field values of residual magnetization.
EFFECT: expanding the possibilities of non-destructive magnetic control.
