SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of panels (14) from wood material. Device (10) for pressing fibrous filter-press residue (12) contains control device (20) made with possibility of signal supply in case of violation. Control device (20) has chamber (22) and evaluation unit (24). Chamber (22) is located in area (30) of inlet of device (10) for pressing. Evaluation unit (24) provides automatic execution of stages, from which at stage (I) images of inlet area (30) are continuously recorded. At step (II), measurement data are continuously recorded for pixels of the image evaluation region (B), which belong to a predetermined evaluation region, having at least one region adjacent to the design horizontal of the fibrous filter-press residue (12) in the upper part. At step (III), a signal is sent if the estimate data vary by more than a given tolerance value (DT).
EFFECT: possibility of monitoring the pressing process in real time, which improves the quality of the obtained articles.
