FIELD: wood processing industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the wood processing industry, in particular to the manufacture of wood-fiber panels. Wood chips are crushed to obtain wood fibers in a refiner for 3 to 20 minutes at a pressure of 0.4 to 1.6 MPa. Wood fibers are glued together with phenolic resin, and the mass ratio of the resin, based on the content of dry matter in it, to wood fibers is from 10% to 50%. The fibers are pre-compacted in a press at pressing temperatures below 110°C to obtain reactive fiberboard. Pre-compacted fiberboard is pressed to produce panels at temperatures from 130°C to 180°C.

EFFECT: quality, dimensional stability and mechanical stability of fiberboard panels are improved.
