SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to impact drilling. Elongated component of percussive drilling to form part of drill string comprises an elongated section of length of length with a pair of axial ends, a male bushing provided on at least one of ends and having part with external thread, as well as threadless shank, located axially between part with thread and section of length. Female sleeve protrudes axially from annular side surface of length section or radially outwardly extending collar, wherein part with thread has OD (Dy) corresponding to thread top, and threadless shank has axial length (Ls) defined between axially inner end of threaded part and side surface. Ratio Ls/Dy equals or exceeds 0.4.
EFFECT: technical result is to withstand forces of asymmetric load acting on drill string, reduced voltage of threaded part of male end and minimization of risk of failure of connecting element.
