FIELD: manufacture of threaded joints having embraced and embracing sections, development of method of manufacture of article with thread. SUBSTANCE: threaded joint has at least one mainly cylindrical male thread and mainly cylindrical female thread. Male thread is provided on embraced section of drill pipe string component said it has threaded ends provided in joint with combined perfect thread with thread side members. At least one of mainly cylindrical threads has at least one threaded end, whose shape differs from perfect thread. Each side member of thread of threaded end has shape which differs from shape of combined side members of perfect thread. Method of manufacture of article with thread for formation of part of said above threaded joint of drilling equipment components is also offered. EFFECT: higher service life of tool due to devising the threaded joint without damage of its components. 10 cl, 9 dwg
