FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for generating augmented reality image and robot system for its implementation. Method includes obtaining an image of a real object using an image receiver, generating an image of a real object on a monitor screen, indicating with the cursor on the monitor screen points of attachment of the real object, determining using the range finder of coordinates of said points on the real object, indication of the corresponding points of the virtual object binding and overlaying on the formed image of the real object image of the virtual object in accordance with the binding of the points of the virtual object to the anchoring points of the real object at the corresponding position of the image receiver relative to the real object, wherein determination of coordinates of the actual object attachment points on the monitor is carried out by consecutive movements of the range finder using the drive and the robot control system into positions, at which the distance measuring line of the range finder coincides with the beam given by the direction from the focus point of the image receiver to the specified anchoring point of the real object, further measurement from these positions using the distance meter of distances to the said points of the real object, wherein each position of the image receiver is determined using robot drive axle drives sensors and a robot control system.
EFFECT: simple procedure of binding a virtual object complementary to reality, to points of a real object, shorter time for its execution and high accuracy of referencing a virtual object to a real object.
