SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the gateway architecture, which enables to deploy wireless sensor networks on a large scale, and to interconnection of such networks with other networks. Main modules (501, 502, 503, 504) in such gateway for wireless sensory networks - for example, digital radio modems (505) and analogue modules (504) of radio interface - take the form of various separate physical units, which can be combined.
EFFECT: enabling implementation of adaptive and scalable modular gateways, which can be quickly and easily adjusted and adapted to any situation, simply by replacing existing physical units or adding new physical blocks.
