SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the used in electrical substations communication equipment, and is intended for the electricity meters connection to the electricity commercial metering automated systems data networks. Single unit radio modem includes the printed circuit board with microcontroller, connectors, power supply unit, memory module, and antenna, further characterized by the fact, that the power supply unit, antenna and the memory module are located on the printed circuit board with microcontroller, and the connectors are made integrated into the printed circuit board with microcontroller with possibility of direct connection to the electric meter terminals. Has been implemented an embodiment, when as the power supply unit a battery is used, for example, a standard galvanic cell (battery) of AA type. Also, the memory module is installed on the printed circuit board with microcontroller and can be made removable. Has been implemented an embodiment with the antenna in the printed circuit board, and the printed circuit board itself is made with a beveled corner.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of the single unit radio modem installation directly into the electricity meter without the use of additional connecting elements, ensuring autonomous operation, and increasing the service life.
