FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: in method that provides for registration of radiant flux, reflected or radiated from objects in observed space, its passage through optical filters, transformation of radiation along dual-link optical scheme into zonal TV signals of image, their separate and joint processing with generation of resulting zonal TV signal, in which prior to generation of each zonal TV signal, radiant (light) flux is passed through its optical filter, spectral characteristic of which is mutually opposite, and after generation of resulting signal, it is compared to specified or arbitrary values of reference signals, then using results of signals comparison, selection signal is generated, selection signal is generated in the form of logical "0" or "1" and is used for automatic registration, besides for display of video information about objects in multispectral TV images, on the basis of the first and second zonal TV signal, the third zonal TV signal is generated for display of information in black-white multispectral TV image, in case of selection signal appearance in the form of logical "1", and also the fourth, fifth and sixth zonal TV signal are generated for permanent reflection of information in colour multispectral TV image.

EFFECT: provision of automatic selection of image signals, increased validity of objects selection with reduction of their illumination.
