FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater navigation and is intended to increase efficiency of obtaining of its geographical coordinates by underwater object (UO) and reduction of economic costs when solving UO tasks due to use of one drifting navigation beacon (DNB) instead of at least three. Pressure sensor and a special computer with at least 32-bit grid are installed on the UO. UO requests DNB with its geographical coordinates (latitude BD and longitude LD), obtained by means of global navigation system (GNSS), with simultaneous measurement of distance (D) to DNB and bearing (α) on it. Obtained geographical coordinates of DNB in special computer are converted to rectangular spatial coordinates (X, Y, Z), and then calculating spherical (latitude ϕD and longitude λD) on terrestrial sphere, relating to common-earth ellipsoid in point of location of DNB, from value of pressure P at depth of location of UO, obtained from pressure sensor, in special computer, pressure P is recalculated into depth H of detection of UO and distance D into central angle ϕ terrestrial sphere, then by spherical coordinates of DNB ϕD and λD, central angle ϕ spherical UO coordinates (latitude ϕUO and longitude λUO) are calculated and estimation of accuracy of obtained solution, then by spherical coordinates ϕUO and λUO calculating rectangular spatial coordinates of the UO (XUO, YUO, ZUO) and recalculating spherical coordinates ϕUO and λUO in geographical coordinates of latitude BUO and longitude LUO.
EFFECT: development of a method for rapid acquisition of geographical coordinates by UO, equipped with a transceiver of a hydroacoustic navigation system operating in the mode of an ultrashort base or short base – on one drifting navigation beacon.
