FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic technology, specifically to methods of producing and processing porous piezoceramics and ceramic-matrix piezocomposites, and can be used in wideband ultrasonic transducers for nondestructive testing and diagnostics, medical diagnostic and therapeutic equipment operating in frequency range from 5 to 20 MHz. Method of composite piezoelectric material production includes mixing of synthesized powder of piezoceramic material with powder of pore-forming agent, addition of polyvinyl plasticizer, pressing and firing. Blowing agent used is crystalline lithium niobate (LiNbO3) with average particle size of 10–40 mcm in amount of 5–15 vol.%.

EFFECT: improved piezoelectric and electromechanical properties.
