SUBSTANCE: method for controlling reliability of complex branched systems, in which information on connection between an element NE (network element) and elements SE (service element) is stored, in which NE element requests call signal maintenance, storing connection information between adjacent SE elements and TE element (terminal element), for which ring signal service is provided, wherein data are transmitted to the calculation unit on the number of transmitted and received packets, a system element is detected, removal of which leads to the least reliability of the system, wherein calculating the reliability parameter of the system, determining reliability parameters of the system with subsequent removal of system elements, detecting system element leading to minimum value of system reliability index, calculating degree of reduction of system reliability parameter, expressed in form of reliability reduction coefficient, command is then instructed to interface the interacting devices to control port transmission speeds in accordance with the reliability reduction coefficient.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of system.
