SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Method includes synchronized transmission of identical downlink data packets by multiple transmission points and includes receiving, in a resource control unit, a resource management information set from at least one candidate node, determining, using the resource management information of the at least one candidate node for use as the second node and initiating the transfer of the resource management functions of the resource control unit from the first node to the second node.
EFFECT: providing seamless transmission of functions of a resource control unit (RCU) or RCU context information from one element to another element, including aspects of scheduling a MAC protocol for suppressing interference within a cluster of a single-frequency network (SFN cluster) when the corresponding SFN cluster moves, expands or contracts.
