SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an information input and display device for use under water. Device for input and display of information for use under water comprises a housing, a touch screen arranged in the housing, electronic components for operation of touch screen, wherein touch screen, made on the basis of cholesteric liquid crystals or electronic paper, comprises upper spring layer, sensitive to mechanical action, sufficient for deflection of spring layer at impact point, wherein the housing has a window for access to the upper spring layer of the touch screen and is sealed with a sealing dielectric substance such that at least a portion of the outer surface of the upper spring layer in the window remains uncovered by the sealing dielectric substance so as to enable contact with water.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling use for input and display of information under water a touch screen based on cholesteric liquid crystals by sealing from water and air inner part of touch screen with simultaneous sealing of electrical components, providing screen operation.
