FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a visual display unit creating a three-dimensional volumetric space. Said visual display unit includes a first screen in a first focal plane, displaying a first image, a second screen in a second focal plane, which displays a second image, while the second screen at least partially overlaps the first screen. Said visual display unit includes a physical object that is located between the first screen and the second screen, the first and second images are displayed in response to the placement of the physical object. Said visual display unit also includes an emitting layer comprising a sheet that is located between the first screen and the second screen and is configured to provide light for the first screen and the physical object.
EFFECT: increased illumination of displays without compromising the contrast.
