FIELD: information processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stylus for information input and display apparatus used in settings where certain parts of the apparatus need to be isolated from the environment, e.g., underwater. To achieve the technical result, the oscillating circuit of the stylus is tuned to resonate with the inductive sensor assembly of the information input and display apparatus and comprises a capacitor, a resistor, and an inductance coil with a ferrite core divided into two parts, movable and fixed, configured to interact with the back part of the stylus tip when the front part of the tip is subjected to mechanical impact, in order to transfer the mechanical impact from the tip to the movable part of the ferrite core of the inductance coil to change the resonant frequency; wherein the capacitor, the resistor, and the winding of the inductance coil of the oscillating circuit are all isolated from the environment.

EFFECT: higher reliability of operation of the information input apparatus – stylus providing high accuracy of information input, reduced production complexity of the stylus.
