FIELD: pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmacy, particularly to cosmetic agents, pediatric dermatology, pharmacology, and is intended for emergency prevention of skin burns of children with accidental contact with parts of stinging plants, particularly nettle. Invention consists in that the agent at temperature of +45 °C and pH 8.0–8.5 consists of water, 0.75–1 % of hydrogen peroxide, 2 % of lidocaine hydrochloride and cation-active surfactants in an amount providing gel-like consistency at temperature of +24…+26 °C.

EFFECT: protection of skin of children against itching, pain, swelling, blisters, burns, infection, local inflammation of allergic and physical-chemical nature at the point of contact with stifling plants due to local hyperthermic alkaline skin stripping and deactivation of organic acids, oxidative deactivation of histamine and other biogenic amines, inhibition of all receptors in skin in conditions excluding stab wound skin, blood vessels of skin and subcutaneous fat, external and intradermal bleeding, bruise, non-specific and allergic inflammation, anaphylactic shock and sepsis.
