FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention generally relates to a protective coating of an on-board multimedia screen monitor, particularly a method of creating a scratchproof impact-resistant sensor coating and a method of applying such a coating on a touch-screen substrate. Coating for user interface of touch-screen of on-board multimedia display includes external protective element, outer surface of which is formed by layer of ultrathin glass. Thickness of ultrathin glass, defined by distance between its inner surface and its opposite outer surface, is 0.02–0.15 mm. On inner surface of ultrathin glass there is inner protective element made of plastic. Coating is intended for application on display element of monitor.
EFFECT: disclosed is an ultrathin glass coating for protecting the monitor from mechanical damage.
