FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: touch screen display comprises of a display monitor for providing a visual image; and an ultrasonic device having a receiver configured to emit an ultrasonic energy wave and to detect reflected ultrasonic energy. The ultrasonic receiver is located among the elements of the display monitor containing the pixel, so that the pixel comprises of a plurality of light emitting cells and an ultrasonic device.
