FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to components of measuring devices and is intended for monitoring level of liquid or granular substances in a vessel and/or pipeline. Proposed device comprises mechanical oscillation system arranged at preset filling level. Voltage from external generator is supplied to excitation transducers, one or more piezoelectric elements 10 are deformed due to inverse piezoelectric effect. By means of clamping screw 14 and metal ring 4 resting on the ledge in branch pipe 18, membrane 3 and bars 1 are transferred. Period of oscillations of the system of bars 1 and membrane 3 increases as one dives into a denser medium. One and more piezoelectric elements 8 of feedback converter, due to direct piezoelectric effect, convert oscillations of mechanical system into electric signal to control operation of generator. During filling or emptying of the tank the substance reaches the place where the device is installed and as the rods immerses or dehumidifies the period of their oscillation. Variation of period of oscillations of the system is a measure of the level of substance with high density in the point of location of the device for controlling the limit level.
EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of device, as well as wider field of use for more viscous liquids and inhomogeneous granular media.
