FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring technology. The viscosity and density meter contains a mechanical oscillatory system consisting of rods attached at a distance from each other to a membrane clamped at the edges and forming an impermeable internal cavity with the surface of the fitting or extension pipe, inside which a piezodrive is located, consisting of ring piezoelectric elements, special washer, ring insulators, metal washer and current collectors. The elements of the piezodrive are installed along the tubular insulator separating them from the metal heel on which it rests. The piezodrive is pressed against the membrane through the heel with a clamping screw. Between the drive and the clamping screw there is a special metal washer, in which radial grooves are made for laying wires from current collectors to the central switching channel. The device additionally contains a special protrusion formed on the membrane as a rigid center. The center of the protrusion coincides with the center of the membrane, the largest diameter d ≤ 0,7 D, where D is the diameter of the membrane, and the maximum height h is at least two membrane thicknesses H.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measurements of density and viscosity of liquids and / or gases under pressure by reducing membrane deformations caused by the pressure of the measured medium.
