FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building, particularly, to internal combustion engine air filters. Air filter of internal combustion engine includes housing of air filter, made in the form of two double concentric external (1, 2) and internal (3, 4) hemispheres, tightened between axes by pin (5) with nuts (6). Spherical cavity (7) is formed between hemispheres. A seal is made along the equator line of the hemispheres. Additional brace of hemispheres is performed by tightening locks (8) fixed on external surface of external hemispheres (1, 2). At the poles of the hemispheres there are air supply (9) and air discharge (10) branch pipes equipped with stiffening ribs (11). On inner wall of external hemispheres there is a fine mesh net (12), in the form of honeycombs with downwards directed cells, molded in the form of cut hemisphere. On the poles of the inner hemispheres cones (13, 14) are made. Cone (13) of inner hemisphere (3) is equipped with tangential swirlers made in the form of attached bent plates. A removable dry filter (15) with a conical bottom part changing into a cylinder is installed in the air discharge branch pipe.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of quality of air cleaning and longer life of filter without changing filter element.
