FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: air outlet branch pipe 10 and one of air intake branch pipes 9 belong to one sectional part 5 of envelope. All other sectional parts of envelope are made fast by central rod 11 and locking member 14 fitted on rod. Sealing member 8 is placed in joint between sectional parts 1 and 5 of envelope. Locking member is made in form of nut 14 turned onto threaded end of central rod 11. EFFECT: simplified design, provision of optimum arrangement of air conduits of air cleaner for use on automobiles differing in layout of engine compartment. 2 cl, 3 dwg
