FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, and more specifically to testing of spacecraft (SC) elements. Test method for multi-link system of spacecraft for operation consists in the fact that spacecraft is installed on a system of weight-saving. Fixed on the link at the point corresponding to the longitudinal coordinate L of the link center of mass. Calculating the adjustment value of the fixation position of the weighting device on the link along the longitudinal coordinate of the position of its center of mass on the obtained value: ɭ=((P2-P1)∙L)/P1, where P1 is the value of the tension force of the springs of the weighting device at the moment of the beginning of the opening of the link; P2 is the value of the tension force of the springs of the weighting device in the middle of its movement; ɭ is the adjustment value of the attachment point of the device for weight reduction on the link along the longitudinal coordinate of its center of mass; L is distance between link rotation axis and attachment point of weightlessness device. Position of the fixation point of the weightlessness device on the link is adjusted to the values obtained after calculation, and then the multi-link mechanical system is tested for opening.
EFFECT: higher level of simulated zero-gravity.
