FIELD: electrical engineering; transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to electrified railways. System for automatic crossing of phases separation points for electrified sections of railways comprises identifiers of pantographs, voltage transformer, a first resistor and a first thyristor switch, which are in parallel connected to two ends of the first section separator, a second resistor and a second thyristor switch, which are connected in parallel to the two ends of the second section separator, and a control unit. At that, when the train moves from the first power supply arm to the first sectional separator, the first thyristor switch is switched on during the voltage zero crossing of the first power supply arm. In case the train moves from the first power supply arm to the neutral insert, the first thyristor switch is switched off at the moment of current zero crossing and the second thyristor switch is simultaneously switched on. In case the train moves from the neutral insert to the second power supply arm, the second thyristor switch is switched off. Also, a method for automatic crossing of phase separation points for electrified sections of railways is proposed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in uninterrupted power supply at crossing of phases of phases of electrified sections.
