FIELD: sampling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for sampling soil in order to perform laboratory tests to determine abrasive component. Hand-held soil sampler comprises a hollow cylinder with a cavity radius R and a sharpened lower edge with two handles fixed thereto diametrically, wherein an external spiral with a non-zero pitch is wound on and rigidly fixed on the cylinder surface, and inside the cylinder there is an inner spiral of radius r<R, made rigid with a non-zero pitch and sharpened in the end with possibility of connection with a crossbar temporarily fixed from above on the hollow cylinder, besides, the external and internal spirals have the same direction of twisting.
EFFECT: provision of soil selection to arable layer depth for determination of abrasive component weight part.
