SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means of checking and monitoring process channel pipes in nuclear installations in operation. Method of measuring deviation of process channel of channel nuclear reactor with installed fuel assembly consists in placing flexible rod element equipped with deformation sensors in hole of central tube of fuel assembly, with subsequent registration of bending of flexible rod element. Deformation transducer used is rod arranged offset from center of flexible rod element. Registration of flexible rod element is carried out by measurement of value of longitudinal movement of free end of bar fixed on one side. There is also a device for measuring.

EFFECT: group of inventions enables to determine the fact of bending, its shape with high sensitivity and at different height of process channel without the need to unload channel from fuel assembly.
