FIELD: textile and paper.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to light industry, in particular, to water-repellent synthetic fabrics formed by linen weaving of threads having gaps between threads, wherein threads consist of multiple fibers having voids between fibers, which are at least partially filled with polymer material, and can be used for clothing application with the requirement of high air permeability and with reduced water absorption. According to the invention, the fibers have a multicore structure with grooves between the cores, wherein some threads are reinforced threads made from polyester, and outer part of fibers has water-repellent impregnation based on aqueous emulsions of fluorocarbon polymer and silicones, having a porous structure.
EFFECT: improved air permeability, water impermeability and strength of fabric.
