FIELD: dryers using solar energy only. SUBSTANCE: solar drying unit has chamber with ventilation system, heat storage, heat power transfer line running from heat storage to drying chamber and built up of heat pipes. Drying chamber is also equipped with light-transparent or light-absorbing solar panels mounted on its walls and roof and has ports in bottom part of walls and in top part of roof for natural ventilation. Solar heater mounted above heat storage is assembled of light-transparent solar panels built up of two screens of which second one has selective coating with low emissivity factor; heat storage is filled with heat-accumulating liquid. Heat pipes are finned within their location region in chamber. EFFECT: enlarged surface receiving solar energy; no electric power requirement. 1 dwg
