FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar engineering and can be used for water heating by means of the Sun in heating and hot water supply systems both for domestic consumers and for agricultural sites. A modular solar collector for solar water heating includes a multiple glass unit, containers containing a phase-changing substance; besides, it includes radiator-and-convector sections coated with a selective coating; rational arrangement of ribs and their tight contact to the main pipe increases a heat-exchange area. A housing is made from heat-insulating materials; a low-emission film or a sputter permitting solar radiation and retaining it inside the modular solar collector for solar water heating is applied onto the front wall made of the multiple glass unit; containers containing a phase-changing substance are made from the same material as the radiator-and-convector sections and located directly between their ribs; the radiator-and-convector sections themselves are made from material with high heat conductivity coefficient, an a selective coating is applied onto their active part.
EFFECT: solar collector will allow effective use of solar energy as much as possible, reducing the cost, energy and material consumption of the design, thus, improving reliability and manufacturability.
