SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in designs of multi-wire bearing conductive wires and cables for overhead transmission lines and lines of electrified transport, amplifying, feeding and suction lines. Electric conductor containing copper and/or aluminum conductor metal material and bearing core. Core is made of composite material (twisted or without twisting) based on thermally expanded graphite reinforced with high-strength carbon and/or basalt fibers. Volumetric fraction of reinforcing fibers in composite material based on thermally expanded graphite is 20–90 %.

EFFECT: invention provides for generation of conductive, simultaneously carrying wires with improved operational properties.
