FIELD: ecology; water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in water treatment. Method of biological removal of nitrogen from unrefined water involves autotrophic nitrification and subsequent denitrification. Unrefined water is passed through at least one common reactor with at least two, in particular, three successive reaction zones. At least a gaseous and/or liquid oxidiser is fed into the reactor and a first microbiological nitrification reaction zone is formed, followed by a microbiological denitrification reaction zone and, if necessary, at least one intermediate reaction zone of microbiological nitrification and microbiological denitrification. In the first reaction zone concentration of dissolved oxygen is created at least 2.5 mg/l, in an intermediate reaction zone – from 0.5 to 2.5 mg/l, and in the following reaction zone – at most 0.5 mg/l. Denitrification is carried out autotrophically. Reactor (2) for biological removal of nitrogen from unrefined water contains at least one reaction frame (8) for dispersing microorganisms, as well as means for feeding into reactor at least gaseous and/or liquid oxidizer. Reaction frame (8) is configured to rotate around its own axis and form reaction zones (3, 4, 5) for autotrophic nitrification and autotrophic denitrification during reactor operation. At least one radial internal reaction zone (3) is configured to dominate microbiological autotrophic nitrification. At least one radial external reaction zone (5) is configured to dominate microbiological autotrophic denitrification.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to accelerate removal of nitrogen with reduced volume of the reactor.
