FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analysis of composition of substance and method of identifying substances in solution and controlling concentration of solutions. Method involves adding a marking composition to a soluble substance which contains a mixture of fluorescent dyes with different peaks of the emission spectrum. Marking composition is coded with relative weight levels of fluorescent dyes. For each marking composition, a fluorescence spectrum is determined with measurement of relative intensity of fluorescence peaks of each dye for a given reference concentration. Result is presented in the form of a reference vector. When analyzing the analyzed solution containing the dissolved substance together with the marking composition, the fluorescence spectrum of the solution is determined and the measurement results are presented in the form of a fluorescence intensity vector. Further, an angle between the measured fluorescence intensity vector and each reference vector from the calibration table is calculated and the analyzed substance is determined from the minimum angle value. Concentration of substance is determined by ratio of lengths of vectors.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of method and reduction of required nomenclature of fluorescent dyes.
