FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, particularly to loudspeakers. Loudspeaker comprises a diaphragm consisting of the first and second components, internal and external suspension elements, a voice coil unit and a magnetic system. Each of diaphragm components is limited by its inner perimeter and outer rib. External edge of the first component is applied on the second component within the overlapping section. Voice coil unit is connected to inner perimeter of diaphragm second component. Diaphragm has truncated-conical shape. First and second diaphragm components are located mutually tangentially. Suspension axial displacement makes not more than half displacement of diaphragm at its mid-point along length along radial direction.
EFFECT: technical result is increased stiffness of the diaphragm with simultaneous shift of resonances towards higher frequencies.
