FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method of supplying three-phase alternating current asynchronous motors of the electric locomotive auxiliary machine system is realized in a device comprising a single-phase power transformer, rectifier-inverter converter, traction motors, smoothing reactor, active rectifier, active rectifier control system, smoothing capacitor, resonance filter, correcting unit, independent voltage inverter, three-phase asynchronous motors of auxiliary machines. Proposed method consists in improvement of power ratio of electric locomotive in modes of traction and regenerative braking at control of input current of active rectifier. Method differs from known ones in that phase of primary transformer primary winding is approaching zero degrees in traction and recuperative braking modes by means of controlled phase rectification of input current of active rectifier, in which switching control signals are supplied to transistor arms of active rectifier with advance of 90 degrees relative to end of half-period of voltage, as a result of which advance phase shift of input current of active rectifier is provided for 90 degrees, at that, in order to provide sinusoidal current in the winding of auxiliary needs, the input current of the active rectifier is corrected by series-connected interconnected capacitors of the correcting unit, which is connected in parallel to the active rectifier output and to the autonomous voltage inverter input, wherein the midpoint of the correcting unit capacitors is connected to the zero output of the secondary auxiliary winding.
EFFECT: increase of electric locomotive power factor at rated load.
