SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation for controlling train movement. Method is based on control of states of track sections by means of track circuits and transmission of information to locomotive, on stations of radio stations are installed radio stations, operating with locomotive radio stations in conferencing mode, locomotive radio stations are connected to stations at passage of locomotive of station axis and are switched off at removal of locomotive from station by the middle of adjoining to the given stations of range, coordinates of points of connection and disconnection of radio stations are determined with participation of receivers of satellite navigation system, which are installed on each locomotive, and definition of length of free section before train is carried out by locomotive computer, which receives information on radio channel on state of rail track circuits from in-ahead and behind-lying stations, as well as information on time of train receiving and departure from station, number of departure route.
