FIELD: railway automatics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automatics for traffic control. Method includes taking into account the amount of free lying ahead track sections, route configurations and mark of patrol guns crosses, locomotive is used to install a computer, a board-display, a device for controlling the crane driver and a controller, which by means of computers maintain the predicted speed, in memory of computer save the speed curves for spans and stations of locomotive entire course calculated for different fixed intervals of train time in spans, when the train enters the section at a speed different from the speeds for which the speed curves are calculated, determining the configuration of the additional speed curves on the speed curves stored in the locomotive computer, taking into account the predetermined time of the section, determining the average speed value, then speed of output, which is equal to sum of input speed and double difference between input speed and average speed of train movement along section, then, speed curve corresponding to train exit from said section is defined by train output speed, by the curves found, find the speed curve between entry and exit point.

EFFECT: safer train movement.
