FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of car frame beams. Flanges and the wall of the H-beam are installed on the assembly bench. Wall is stretched and welded to the lower flange of the beam. Then, stretching load is removed from the wall, H-beam top flange is stretched and welded to the wall. After double-bead assembly is assembled, stretching stresses remain in upper belt and compressing stresses in lower belt.
EFFECT: reduced deflection of side and center car beams at maximum loads.
