FIELD: training means.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to training facilities, namely to simulators using virtual reality. Switching VR simulator includes a PC with a computer-readable medium. It comprises logical part of simulator and graphic three-dimensional shell, which are connected to PC. It also comprises peripheral devices for navigation in a virtual environment. Logical part in the form of program complex includes interconnected by means of local program interface switching module and evaluation module. Switching VR-simulator is designed so that the operator is connected by two-way communication with an instructor and virtual reality glasses. Virtual reality glasses comprise: a helmet, headphones, a microphone, a manipulator-controller, position trackers and a movement platform. Virtual reality glasses are two-way connected to the software system. It comprises a script set module, a script editor module and a software engine module-base module. Engine module consists of a simulator module, a switching module, an evaluation module and a voice module.

EFFECT: method of training and assessing competency for cashiers-controllers is carried out using a switching VR-simulator.
