LIGHTING POWER SUPPLY METHODS IN NORMAL AND EMERGENCY OPERATION MODES Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC H02J9/00

Abstract RU 2715217 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: use in the field of electric engineering for standard and emergency power supply of LED modules in a room. Method is realized using a lighting power supply structural circuit, which includes a power supply, an electric voltage converter, accumulator battery and load, in form of LED modules, characterized by that storage battery, converter of electric voltage and load are connected to positive and negative outputs of power supply source, note here that accumulator battery and load are connected electrically in series while voltage converter is connected to accumulator battery and load connection point. In the normal power supply mode of lighting in the presence of current at the output of the power supply, the voltage converter converts the voltage of the charge supplied to the storage battery to an allowable level for charging the storage battery, and in emergency mode of lighting power supply with no current at output of power supply, converter of electric voltage increases voltage supplied from storage battery to load to sufficient level for normal operation of load.

EFFECT: simplified power supply circuit in which converter of electric voltage performs simultaneously functions of charge-discharge device for accumulator battery, inverter, ballast resistor and electric voltage regulator.
