FIELD: thermoelectric-power industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat and power engineering and can be used for production of electric energy during transportation in heat carrier pipes. Thermal electric generator includes section of pipeline, on which there are longitudinal thermoelectric sections connected by bridges with similar collectors of electric charges, forming thermoelectric units equipped with terminals with similar charges, each section consists of thermoelectric transducers arranged in parallel, each of which consists of a pair of sections made of different metals M1 and M2, ends of which are flattened and interconnected, forming upper and lower junctions, wherein lower junctions in each thermoelectric section are bent at angle of 90°, longitudinally connected from above with an angle made of material with high heat conductivity and clamped on opposite side by parallel fastening strip from dielectric material, ends of which together with ends of angle are pressed to surface of pipeline, lower soldered joints and lower part of thermoelectric converters are coated with layer of dielectric material, space between lower junctions on height of fastening strips is filled with heat-insulating material, thermoelectric sections are closed by cylindrical casing of corrosion-resistant material and consisting of two semi-cylindrical casings equipped with longitudinal flanges with fastening holes and end covers, inner surface of the semi-cylindrical casings is equipped with swirlers located relative to the pipeline axis at angle of 45°, upper half-jacket is equipped with two vertical intake pipes along the edges of semi-cylindrical casing, equipped with intake slits and conical heads plugged from above, vertical casing with deflector is arranged in the middle of casing.

EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency of self-contained thermoelectric generator.
