FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of training models and simulators, namely to devices providing simulation of conditions when moving, closest to conditions of movement in a vehicle, and can be used in testing laboratories and when teaching driving skills. Simulator for simulating movement of vehicle comprises interconnected corresponding fixed and movable platforms, from which latter is equipped with drives for changing its position. Design includes a visualization system which reproduces a road environment in the form of a front screen with a video projector placed on racks, and a system for controlling elements of the simulator in the form of a control unit, a power supply and a computer. In simulating movement on movable platform, real working vehicle is installed as working module of driver, and replacement of fixed and movable platforms is performed by means of cardan hinge and drive rods connected with shafts of movable platform position changing drives. At the same time control unit and drives are rigidly fixed on lower platform, and shafts of drives are equipped with sensors of their position connected to control unit.
EFFECT: higher initial level of driver training.
