FIELD: training means.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to training models or simulators for training to control a four-wheeled off-road motor vehicle. Simulator for training comprises a simulator of a driver's workplace with controls and sensors of their position, a simulator of a traffic situation, including a projection screen, projection means, a system for changing the position of the driver’s workplace simulator, a computer, a device for processing signals from the position sensors of the controls and displaying the deviation of the simulated parameters from the reference, elements of the driver’s ammunition, sensors for determination of static load on wheels and values of non-uniformity of its distribution on wheels, which are connected to a device for processing signals of sensors. Driver's workplace simulator is equipped with a seat with a motorcycle seat, footrests, a motorcycle-type steering wheel with controls located on it and a steering shaft equipped with a steering angle and speed sensor and a load unit simulating resistance to turning the controlled wheels and connected to the computer.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the method for initial training in vehicle control techniques.
