FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalysts used for deep refining of refinery gases and can be used in oil and gas processing industry. Described is use of a multicomponent oxide composition of general formula Mo1V0.3Te0.23Nb0.12(Se+M)XOn, where: M is an element from a group comprising Bi, Mn, Ge, Ga and Nd, x=0.0002–0.25, preferably 0.0005–0.15, n is the number of oxygen atoms required to maintain electroneutrality, as a catalyst for processing ethane-ethylene fraction into ethylene during oxidative dehydrogenation reaction.
EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining ethylene by processing ethane-ethylene fraction of refinery gases with output of not less than 70 %.
