SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe threaded components of drilling pipes used in oil and gas wells. Protective element of male end or female end of pipe component for drilling or operation of oil and gas wells, where male end or female end is equipped with at least one external thread or internal thread, external annular surface and inner annular surface, which are separated by at least one thread. Protective element contains at least one thread containing at least the first threaded part containing at least one coil with pitch P1 suitable for connection by means of screwing with thread of the male end or thread of the female end. Protective element comprises a second threaded part comprising at least one coil with pitch P2 different from pitch P1.

EFFECT: technical result is provision of spinning lock.
