FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to hydrogel particles containing a gas hydrate inhibitor, and a method for use thereof in oil production. Hydrogel inhibitor of gas hydrates includes at least one polymer hydrogel particle with hydrogel content of 50 to 100 %, wherein the content of the hydrogel includes an inhibitor selected from a group consisting of at least one thermodynamic hydrate inhibitor, at least one kinetic hydrate inhibitor or a combination thereof, wherein the polymer hydrogel particles have an average diameter of 10–2000 mcm. Method of producing a hydrogel inhibitor of gas hydrates involves providing a plurality of hydrogel particles having a hydrogel content of 50 to 100 %, and swelling of hydrogel particles in an aqueous solution of the inhibitor, comprising an inhibitor selected from a group consisting of at least one thermodynamic hydrate inhibitor, at least one hydrate kinetic inhibitor or a combination thereof, wherein polymer hydrogel particles have average diameter of 10–2000 mcm. Method of inhibiting formation of hydrocarbon gas hydrates involves adding hydrogel particles containing a thermodynamic or kinetic hydrate inhibitor according to any of claims 1–17, into hydrocarbon fluid flow. Method of reducing formation and deposition of hydrate layer in gas pipelines includes addition of hydrogel particles containing thermodynamic or kinetic inhibitor of hydrates into pipeline including flow of hydrocarbon fluid. Use of hydrogel particles containing a thermodynamic or kinetic hydrate inhibitor to reduce formation and deposition of hydrate layer in pipelines transporting hydrocarbons involves adding said hydrogel particles with hydrogel content of 50 to 100 %, wherein the content of the hydrogel includes a thermodynamic or kinetic hydrate inhibitor, into a pipeline comprising a hydrocarbon fluid stream. Method of inhibiting formation of hydrates in a pipeline for natural gas involves adding said hydrogel inhibitor of gas hydrates to offshore pipelines transporting hydrocarbons from oil and gas wells. Invention is developed in dependent items of the formula.

EFFECT: technical result is higher efficiency of treatment using hydrate inhibitors.
