SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to tomography imaging devices. X-ray tomograph for examination of lower extremities includes an axisymmetric support bench for a patient, rigidly fixed on a fixed base or floor, at least one X-ray radiator and at least one X-ray detector, rigidly fixed on the frame, which is made with possibility of rotation relative to vertical axis of the pedestal, drive, which performs frame rotation and casing, closing X-ray radiator and X-ray detector, at that, the tomograph additionally contains stages fixed on the frame, the supporting surface of which is installed at the same height with the pedestal bearing surface, the casing in the longitudinal section is U-shaped, central part of which coincides with the support surface of the bench as to height, wherein the housing is configured to detect pressure thereon in the horizontal plane.

EFFECT: use of the invention improves ergonomic characteristics and diagnostic results due to higher image quality.
