SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of polymer materials and relates to recyclable polyethylene packaging film. Film consists of at least 80 vol. % of polyethylene material and maximum 20 vol. % of compatible polyolefin material, wherein polyethylene film has thickness of less than 40 mcm and has a central layer of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and/or metallocene linear low-density polyethylene (mLLDPE) and two layers connected to the central layer of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) which surround the central layer. HDPE fraction in the polyethylene film is 60 vol. %, preferably 70 vol. %, most preferably 80 vol. %. Outer layers together have three times thicker, preferably four times thicker than central layer, and polyethylene film is oriented in at least one direction.

EFFECT: invention enables to produce a film suitable for printing by a printing method, which can be used in a packaging industry and can be easily processed for secondary use.
