FIELD: meteorological rockets.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to meteorological rockets for aerosol scattering in clouds, generated during combustion of pyrotechnical blocks of active smoke in order to introduce ice-forming nuclei into active part of growing hail cloud, which feeds hail cell. Rocket for active action to clouds contains a head part with cartridges of pyrotechnic charge of active smoke. Head part is closed by a fairing filled with filled metal material, and in which in the lower part there is a collector with elements of initiation of belt charge of explosive of self-liquidation mechanism. Missile has two-section solid-propellant jet engine, igniter charge of which is initiated by central electric plug-in nozzle unit bearing aerodynamic blades. Channel cartridge of active smoke is pressed directly into the body of the head part, which is made of fabric-bakelite material. Cartridge channel is armored by paper tube with wall having thickness of 1.5–1.7 mm. Ratio of diameters of gas outlets in head part, diameter of gas outlet hole in engine and diameter of cartridge channel of active smoke is 2.0:1.5:1.0.
EFFECT: higher functional reliability, safety and efficiency of main action due to possibility of pressing ice-forming composition directly into body of missile head part, creation of uniform, stable consumption of ice-forming silver iodide nuclei along the entire route and accompanying increase in the missile flight range in the treated cloud.
